NEO is a productivity add-on to Outlook

NEO automatically organizes your email to make messages easier to find and manage.

An alternative interface for the email component of Outlook, NEO is meant to enhance Outlook, not replace it.

NEO works with Personal Folders and with all Exchange Server and Office 365 mailboxes using any Outlook version, 32 or 64 bits and all versions of Exchange Server. Note that NEO does not work with Outlook Webclient or Outlook.com.

NEO will not affect your Outlook mail

No need to worry… NEO doesn't change anything in Outlook or to your messages - just the way you look at it. NEO is only an interface to your email messages, which are integrally retained in the Outlook message stores. NEO keeps all data local to your machine and is not using the cloud for any functionality (except during license authorization).

NEO organizes your emails by creating a separate, local catalog that is completely independent of Outlook. Outlook continues to collect and retain your messages while you are using NEO. You can safely use NEO without any worries about losing your messages. The catalog is used to be able to present the user with many different and innovative views to their messages functioning as pointers to the actual messages in Outlook. All actual content is read in real-time from the Outlook messages through the MAPI interface.

NEO does not make copies of messages. Only indexes to the messages are created and stored in a local catalog. Your Outlook messages continue to be updated as usual. At any moment you can stop using NEO and switch back to Outlook. Or you can use Outlook without opening NEO e.g. by using Outlook Webclient to access and manage your messages - any changes NEO will synchronize next time it is opened.

Continue to use all your Outlook features

All Outlook features work just as before. You can use NEO alongside Outlook (and switch conveniently back and forth), or use it instead of Outlook.
