Outlook 2007: Lag in opening Reply/Forward and Open editor within NEO

Outlook 2007 compatibility
NEO Pro is broadly compatible with Outlook 2007 from the functionality point of view.
There is a minor issue involving the copying of old fashioned RTF and text messages which we haven't been able to resolve.
Problem
If you copy from an RTF or a text message in the NEO view pane (mark text and ctrl c), the Office 2007 Clipboard collects it. For some reason this then causes a lag in opening, forwarding and replying to email messages. Sometimes the lag is about 10 seconds, sometimes around 30 to 40 seconds.
Workaround
We have found a workaround that will fix this pretty painlessly.
When you reply to or forward a message and you notice the lag -
- wait until the Outlook reply or forward window (Outlook editor) gives you control.
- click on the clipboard arrow-icon next to the word 'clipboard' which you'll see on the far left of the message ribbon (toolbar). This will bring the clipboard up.
- either clear the clipboard by hitting 'clear all' or delete the individual clip which is causing this by right click and choosing 'delete' (usually the very latest clip in the clipboard).
- the lag should cease for the following replys, forwards and opens you do.
If the lag occurs on an open of a message, you cannot open the clipboard in this instance. You will need to reply to or forward the message to follow the steps above. You can then dismiss the Outlook editor if you do not need to reply or forward. The issue will be solved from then on.
We do not yet understand why the Office clipboard triggers this delay in the open, reply and forward Outlook editors when copying clips from RTF or text messages.
It's an issue that should occur very infrequently, if ever, for most people. RTF and text messages are increasingly rare. The Outlook 2007 default, for instance, is the Word html format.
